merican heavy metal band Metallica topped the Billboard 200 album chart on Monday, surpassing R&B singer Bruno Mars and country artist Miranda Lambert.
As reported by Antara news agency, 282,000 copies of the band's latest full-length studio album, Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct, had been sold so far, while the songs had been streamed 9.3 million times.

The Billboard 200 album chart list is generated from album and song sales, as well as music streaming.
Billboard also stated that Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct, which was officially released on Nov. 18, was the third biggest debut album this year, after Drake's Views and Beyonce's Lemonade. (fmn/kes)
