Maserati watches target fans who can't afford its cars
Recognized as an Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer, Maserati is synonymous with expensive goods. However, its usual hefty price tag does not apply to its watch collection.

ecognized as an Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer, Maserati is synonymous with expensive goods. However, its usual hefty price tag does not apply to its watch collection.
During the Maserati watches event at Grand Indonesia shopping mall in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, brand distributor Watch World Indonesia director Sutarsa said Maserati fans came from all segments, including those who could not afford the vehicles.
"[But] they still want to purchase the brand merchandise, which led the company to create products that can be afforded by many. [Therefore] Maserati watches are affordable," he said.

With a starting price of Rp 2,700,000 (US$203.18), the collection is said to still follow the brand's signature style, which emphasizes technology and design.
"The car's feature, such as a dashboard, was implemented in the design," said Sutarsa, adding that the product was also suitable for both formal and informal occasions. (kes)
