egendary metal band Megadeth has officially confirmed that it will perform at the annual heavy metal festival Hammersonic on May 7 via its Twitter account.
The band, which was formed 1983 by Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson, will share the stage with other notable names, such as American melodic death metal band The Black Dahlia Murder, Australian metalcore Northlane and American deathcore band Whitechapel.

Heavy metal fans can order tickets via the website of the festival’s promoter, Revision Live, convenience store chain Indomaret and other official ticket boxes.
Three categories of tickets are available: early bird, which is available only until Feb. 28 with prices from Rp 300,000; pre-sale tickets, which will be sold in March starting from Rp 400,000; and normal tickets with prices starting from Rp 500,000.

Megadeth is no stranger to their Indonesian fans as the band wowed the audience at Stadion Teladan, Medan, North Sumatra, in 2001. Following a successful first concert, they returned to Indonesia and performed in Jakarta in 2007.
Meanwhile, promoters have yet to announce the official date and venue for Hammersonic 2017. Hammersonic is biggest metal festival in Asia Pacific and was first held in 2012 at Lapangan D, Senayan, South Jakarta, where up to 15,000 people enjoyed performances by their favorite bands. (asw)
