Musical film Naura & Genk Juara (Naura and the Winning Gang) is set to be released in September or October.
Pax Benedanto, a producer at Kompas Gramedia Production, said Naura & Genk Juara was dedicated to children.
“Indonesia lacks films and songs for children. [Naura & Genk Juara] aims to fill the void,” said Pax as quoted by Kompas.com.
The producer cast child singer Adyla Rafa Naura Ayu, popularly known as Naura, as the main character in the film.

The movie, produced by Kompas Gramedia and Creative & Co, revolves around the experiences of Naura and friends Okky Bimo and Kipli when competing at a science camp.
The soundtrack features eight new songs and one song from the singer’s first album. Naura reportedly performs a duet with her mother Riafinola Ifani Sari, a member of trio B3, in the film.
In addition to its child’s theme and songs, Naura & Genk Juara’s director, Eugene Panji, said the movie also featured 2D animation. (jes/asw)
