apper Gary, a former member of the cast of “Running Man,” made a surprise announcement that he had gotten married, via Instagram on Wednesday.

“I got married to the person I love today,” Gary said in the post. “My wife and I did not hold a wedding ceremony. Instead, we decided to cherish the moment, just the two of us.”

He continued, “I know it might be shocking news, but please wish us happiness and a joyful future.”

Not only fans, but also Gary’s close friends -- his agency, the cast and staff of “Running Man” as well as Gil from the duo Leessang -- were equally shocked, according to local media reports.

“Gary usually doesn’t tell us about his private life. I didn’t even know he had someone special,” a representative from Gary’s agency Yangban’s Nations said. “We first thought it was either a belated April Fools’ joke or that his account got hacked.”

With the news of Gary’s marriage, Leessang’s de facto disbandment has once again become a topic of discussion.

A former representative from Leessang Company, which represents Leessang, said that while the duo has in reality separated, and Gary and Gil are pursuing their own activities, they have not made the disbandment official.

“It is true that Gil and Gary established their own labels in 2016. In fact, I could say that Leessang is disbanded. However, it could be possible for them to form the duo again as well,” the official said.
