little over a month after the launch of Status, WhatsApp’s answer to Snapchat and Instagram Stories, the company has announced yet another feature.
The Facebook-owned messaging service will allow users to pin three chats at the top of their conversation list. So for users constantly scrolling between different groups and individual chats, those with priority can now remain at the top.

As The Verge explains, all users have to do to pin a chat is “simply tap and hold on the chat in the conversation list and the option to pin will show up”.
However, if you have already pinned three conversations, you will get a message saying that you cannot pin another. If you change your mind, chats can be unpinned in the same way.
Currently, this feature is only available to users of the beta version of the app. (sul/kes)
