English comedian Rowan Atkinson is set to return as the bumbling spy Johnny English for the franchise’s third film.
Titled Johnny English 3, the film is slated to be released in 2018.
Independent reports that pre-production has begun. However, a full cast and plot have yet to be revealed.

The first Johnny English film was released in 2003. Starring Ben Miller, John Malkovich and Natalie Imbruglia alongside Atkinson, the comedy reportedly raked in US$160.5 million at the box office.
Following the first installment's success, Atkinson returned in the sequel Johnny English Reborn, which was released in 2011 and received a positive response. (jes/asw)
