Raisa, Hamish to have Sundanese wedding reception

inger-songwriter Raisa Andriana and actor Hamish Daud Wyllie were officially engaged on May 21, a day dubbed as National Heartbreak Day by netizens. 

The engagement ceremony was held privately at Raisa’s residence in Cinere, Depok, and was attended only by family and close friends of the couple. Raisa and Hamish confirmed of the engagement through Instagram posts on their respective accounts.

On Monday, wedding planner Bridestory revealed information on the couple's wedding plans.

“The wedding reception for the couple is scheduled to be held in Sundanese tradition at the end of 2017,” the wedding vendor said in an official statement. Bridestory also stated that both Raisa and Hamish are grateful for the public’s interest and that they are asking for everyone’s prayers and support, so that the wedding preparation could go smoothly.

Raisa, who is of Sundanese descent, revealed her roots in 2009 during a Twitter conversation with a fan, whose Twitter account has now been deleted. In the post, the fan seemed surprised to find out that Raisa knew the Sundanese language, to which the singer replied, “Haha yes I am Sundanese.”

Bridestory was also involved as official planners for Raisa and Hamish’s private engagement ceremony. (mas/asw)
