arpool Karaoke, one of James Corden’s popular segments on his late night talk show, The Late Late Show, had been picked up by Apple Music, with Carpool Karaoke: The Series debuting on the website on Aug. 8.
Linkin Park had been one of the handful of artists to be invited to make an appearance for this new show, and the band had reportedly finished filming on July 4. However, with Chester Bennington’s death last month on July 20, less than a week after filming, it’s now up to Bennington’s family to decide whether the episode will air.
Set to air in October, the episode features actor Ken Jeong, who was pictured together with the band members on the Carpool set prior to Bennington’s death.

"We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled,” Corden said when asked about the Linkin Park episode as quoted by Billboard.

“We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don’t think there’s any other way we could deal with it, really. It's completely up to them and that's a conversation we haven't even thought about having right now... It’s a tragedy.”
Corden’s comments on this topic drew immediate reaction and gratitude from Bennington’s widow, Talinda, who thanked him for his offer on Twitter.
