Legendary British rock band Queen is set to release an exclusive edition of its sixth studio album, News of the World, on Nov. 17.
This move is said to be part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the original album’s release in October 1977.
The exclusive edition reportedly would consist of a DVD of Queen: The American Dream; a "pure analogue" vinyl; a 60-page hardcover book with unreleased photographs, posters and three CDs; and the original album that has 11 tracks, Raw Sessions and Bonus Track. The Raw Sessions, said to be the most intriguing part of the new release, boast alternative versions of the tracks that fans have never heard before.

“Every lead vocal is different, as are most of the lead guitar parts and a great many other instrumental details,” read the official statement on the Queen’s website, adding that it would include a different full-length version of “We Are The Champion”.
Meanwhile, the one-hour Queen: The American Dream DVD will invite fans to enjoy the band’s onstage and off-stage footages that were recorded during their 1977's News of the World tour in United States.
Those interested to purchase the album, priced at £112 (US$146), can pre-order via the band’s official website. (kes)
