If you happen to have a constant craving for desserts then you are in luck.

This month, The Jakarta Post has spotted two establishments that offering not only delicious but also stylish, eye-catching desserts.

Kate Spade Afternoon Tea

Fairmont Jakarta hotel in Central Jakarta has teamed up with fashion brand Kate Spade New York for its afternoon tea promotion.

Available at Peacock Lounge until Oct. 20, the afternoon tea was created based on the fashion brand’s Fall Collection 2017. Here, sweet-tooths can enjoy a plethora of pretty desserts, featuring mandarin opera cake with Kate Spade French bulldog mascot print, leopard print lavender éclair, beach hat-shaped granny apple cheese mouse, handbag-shaped lemon butter cake and more.

The Kate Spade’s design elements on the cakes make the afternoon tea set Instagram-worthy.

Jakartans dessert enthusiasts have been raving about the ube velvet cake, a dessert available exclusively at the newly-opened Union restaurant in PIK Avenue shopping mall, Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.

Combining purple yam, coconut sponge layers with silky purple yam cream, the cake appears in a striking purple color, making it deserve a place on your Instagram feed. (asw)
