YouTube FanFest to feature local, international YouTubers

he third installment of YouTube FanFest will run from Nov. 10 to 12 at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel in South Jakarta.
This time around, the annual festival will feature both local and international YouTube stars, including 1Million Dance Studio, Matt Steffanina, Tiffany Alvord, Ranz Kyle, Niana Guerrero, SkinnyIndonesian24, Ria Ricis, Agung Hapsah and Bayu Skak.
In addition to YouTubers’ performances, the 2017 YouTube FanFest will also present shows from local musicians, namely Tulus, Last Child, Armada, Kunto Aji and Anji.

Prior to the upcoming YouTube FanFest, the video-streaming platform had held YouTube Showcase events in three cities -- Yogyakarta, Surabaya in East Java and Bandung in West Java, which aimed to facilitate local creators and give them an opportunity to meet their fans.
Google Indonesia head of consumer marketing Fibriyani Elastria said in a press release that in the past two years, Indonesians' enthusiasm for YouTube FanFest had increased, illustrating that the platform is growing rapidly in the country.
In 2015, Fibriyani said that the event was attended by 3,000 people. Meanwhile, last year, 18,000 people reportedly attended YouTube FanFest. (kes)
