The film's director Emil Heradi said in a press release, as quoted by Antara news agency, that the upcoming screening was aimed at giving an opportunity for local movie buffs to watch the movie in the cinema.
Night Bus had previously been screened in cinemas in April. However, the screening only lasted for a week as it was hit with distribution problems.
Starring Tio Pakusadewo, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Lukman Sardi and Donny Alamsyah, Night Bus follows passengers’ thrilling experiences on board, as the title suggests, a night bus.
Heading to Sampar, a conflict area guarded by soldiers who are fighting against a group called Sampar Merdeka (Free Sampar), the passengers face various terrors.
In the FFI, Night Bus won a total of six awards for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Editor, Best Makeup Artist and Best Costume Designer categories. (jes/asw)
