lank drummer Bimo Setiawan “Bimbim” Almachzumi has announced the rock band’s plan to celebrate its 35th anniversary next year with a concert at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) in Senayan, South Jakarta.
Bimbim made the announcement on stage during the band’s 34th anniversary celebration at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday.
“We’ve [already] booked [the venue],” Bimbim said as quoted by kompas.com.

Slankers cheered upon hearing the news.
On Tuesday, some Slankers who could not enter the concert’s venue opted to wait outside. Many had come from outside Jakarta, such as Bogor, Bekasi and Bandung in West Java, and Lampung.
The band, comprising Bimbim, Kaka, Ridho, Ivanka and Abdee, previously celebrated its anniversary at GBK in 2003. (wir/kes)
