PT Pos Indonesia is set to release Dilan 1990 stamps in Bandung, West Java, on March 6.
The news was announced by the book’s author, Pidi Baiq, on Instagram. The launch will take place at the Pos Indonesia building, Bandung, at 3 p.m. There will be postcards and stamp-signing. Those who live outside the city can get their own stamps in other post offices across the country or order online.

According to tempo.co, Pos Indonesia philately manager Tjahjaning Seno confirmed the news. Seno said the idea came about several weeks ago when he met with Pidi.
Dilan 1990 has risen in popularity since its premiere in January. Production house Falcon Pictures claims that it has been watched by more than 6 million viewers. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo also watched the film recently. “Simple and not overdone, just right,” the President commented about the film. (wir/wen)
