aren Millen reimagines workwear for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, presenting vibrant colors and contemporary silhouettes for women's wardrobe appropriate for day to night.

Anita Mantik, Karen Millen Indonesia's brand manager, told journalists during a preview luncheon in Jakarta recently that the latest collection carries on the brand's emphasis on premium quality fabrics and sharp tailoring, especially for workwear, which the brand focuses on.

Versatility and bold, unabashed femininity is also embodied in the evening and occasionwear in the latest collection, she added.

"Of course spring usually means vibrant colors. And this collection highlights three, which are mustard yellow, bright pink and blue," Anita said.

Polka-dots also play a key role by injecting an air of fun and flirtation element to a monochrome color pallet.

Overall, the collection boasts three themes, namely "when I'm on" for work clothes, "when I'm off" for casual clothes and "when I'm out" for special events outfits. (kes)
