tate-owned postal service firm PT Pos Indonesia has launched a series of stamps on the theme of Dilan 1990, a recent movie that has attracted 6.24 million viewers by its 39th day of screening. The stamps were unveiled at the Graha Pos Indonesia lobby in Bandung on Tuesday.
The four stamp designs were taken from the book the film was adapted from. The four stamps in caricature style depict Dilan approaching Milea from behind while riding a motorcycle, Dilan sitting side by side with Milea, Dilan standing near his motorcycle and Milea riding with Dilan on his CB100 motorcycle in the rain.

The book's author, Pidi Baiq, also known as Ayah, posted on his instagram account @pidibaiq on Monday that the launch event would feature stamp signing, 1990s signature food and a performance by The Panasdalam, a band he founded in 1995.
The stamps reportedly have gone through a proofing process prior to being printed in late February.
According to Pos Indonesia, people living outside Bandung can purchase the stamps at post offices across Indonesia or order them online. (kes)
