he official trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody, a biopic of legendary rock band Queen, has just been released by 20th Century Fox.
Staring Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek as lead singer Freddie Mercury, the trailer begins with a sequence of intercut shots of Queen concerts, with Mercury (Malek) wearing a range of different costumes, from a batwing outfit to a shiny cat-suit to a simple white tank top.
The trailer then shows the band’s recording process and the making of their renowned hit "Bohemian Rhapsody". According to the official synopsis, the film explores the ups and downs of the band, including when Mercury decided to pursue a solo career and when he reunited with the band for Live Aid, despite his failing health.

Set to premiere on Nov. 2 later this year, the film also stars Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander and Mike Myers.
Previously, director Bryan Singer was fired from the movie for health reasons and, according to Vanity Fair, Dexter Fletcher helmed the film thereafter. (wir/wng)
