Anthony Bourdain’s biography to be published in 2019
The biography of the late cook Anthony Bourdain will be released in 2019, and edited by Laurie Woolever, his longtime assistant and collaborator.

The legacy of the late Anthony Bourdain will live on in a forthcoming biography.
Cookbook author Paula Forbes took to Twitter to announce the authorized biography, which sounds as if it will take on a nontraditional format.
“According to ye olde Publishers Marketplace, @LaurieWoolever is editing Bourdain: The Oral Biography, ‘an authorized portrait of the writer, veteran chef and television traveler, built from stories shared by those who knew him best’ for Ecco,” read Forbes’ tweet.

The biography will be published by Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins and is set to be edited by Laurie Woolever, Bourdain’s longtime assistant and collaborator.
“After working with and collaborating with Tony since 2004, I’m honored to now be working with his estate, and talking to the people who knew him best, in order to share the story of a life that influenced so many people, in so many ways, all across the globe,” wrote Woolever in a statement to Eater.
Bourdain: The Oral Biography is scheduled for a fall 2019 release. (sul/wng)
