Chinese automobile company DFSK has appointed Indonesian singer Agnez Mo as the ambassador of its SUV model the Glory 580.
inger Agnez Mo has been appointed as the face of Chinese automobile company DFSK's SUV model the Glory 580, which is set to be officially launched on July 19.
As reported by Tempo.co, the vehicle was first introduced at the opening by Sokonindo of its factory in Serang, Banten, in November last year.
DFSK, which stands for Dongfeng - Sokon, is a relatively new company in Indonesia, offering pick-up trucks and SUV-type vehicles. Its newest model, the Glory 580, debuted in the local market at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) in April of this year.
At the event, DFSK also introduced its seven-year or 150,000-kilometer guarantee, which is the longest for any vehicle in Indonesia.
The SUV sold 95 units throughout June, more than triple the number in May, with 30 units sold.

According to data by the Association of Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers (Gaikindo), the Glory 580 with its CVT automatic transmission was the most popular variant, with 83 units sold. The remaining 12 SUVs were manual transmission. In addition to SUVs, DFSK has also sold 14 pick-up trucks in Indonesia.
The Glory 580 has a capacity of seven passengers, with prices ranging from Rp 245.9 million (US$17,061) to Rp 308 million. In its category, the vehicle occupies the same segment as the Honda CR-V and Nissan X-Trail. (liz/kes)
