HBO has responded to Donald Trump's tweet, distancing itself from the US President's 'misappropriation' of references to the popular Game of Thrones series.
BO Entertainment has responded to a tweet from US President Donald Trump that used the Game Of Thrones typefont and recast its popular catchphrase, "Winter is coming".
"How do you say trademark misuse in Dothriaki?" read the responding tweet on the official HBO account (@HBO).

The tweet referred to the powerful Dothriaki tribe, known in the series for its aggressive behavior.

The cable and satellite TV network made the response to an image @realDonaldTrump posted on Nov. 2 that read "Sanctions are coming" in the series' iconic title font.

The image was dated Nov. 5, referring to the date when sanctions against Iran would come back into force, as The Independent reported.
President Trump's tweet comes ahead of the United States midterm elections on Nov. 6.
"We were not aware of this and would prefer that our trademark not be misappropriated for political purposes," said HBO. (acr/wng)
