n this week's action in the Apple Coal Jakarta Cricket Association (JCA) League 2014-2015, defending champions WISCI easily beat Emerio in Division I, while Fez Rebels won a close game against TKCC.
At Cibubur, WISCI won by seven wickets with 15 overs to spare. Put into bat first, Emerio were bundled out for 128 runs. Manish made 58 runs. JP & Gaurav Tiwari took three wickets each.
Both Gaurav and Wilfred remained not out on 42 and 38 runs, respectively. Vijay and Manish took one wicket each.
At the Gandhi ground, a venue known for high scoring, Fez Rebels pulled off an exciting three wicket-victory over the fancied TKCC. Needing 241 runs to win, Corbon (89) and Marten Eddy (61) combined well to win it for Rebels in the penultimate over. Earlier, electing to bat first, TKCC scored 240 runs. Malik (55), Suren (50) and Hitesh (40) made useful contributions for TKCC. Steve Barber took two wickets.
WISCI, Barbarians and Emerio lead Division I, while Fez Rebels, TKCC and Metro Indians lead Division II.
