The two victims were identified as Muhammad Riswan, 22, and Wahyudi, 22. Riswan died on Tuesday at Daya Hospital, while Wahyudi died on Sunday at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital.

Riswan was attacked at dawn Saturday, while Wahyudi, a Makassar Muhammadiyah University student, was ambushed at dawn Sunday. Both were on their way home.

Makassar Police chief Sr. Comr. Fery Abraham said the police had arrested six people. '€œOne of them has been named a suspect in Wahyudi'€™s attack,'€ he said.
