AKARTA: Musician and producer Ahmad Dhani says he has reported concert promoter Tommy Pratama to the police for allegedly swindling US$836,000.

Tribunnews.com reported on Thursday that Tommy, the director of Original Production, said that the deal was made with Malaysian-based Clockwork director Nur Iman Tang.

'€œWe have decided to settle it amicably. It'€™s a shame they involved Ahmad Dhani in this case,'€ said Tommy.

Dhani'€™s money, allegedly used as a down payment to bring Metallica to Malaysia and Indonesia in 2011 for concerts that did not materialize, was not returned, he claims.

'€œI thought it would be cool if it was me who brought Metallica here. But they failed to show up,'€ said Dhani.
