American band The Maine has canceled its planned Aug. 14 concert in Jakarta.

Promoter Marygops Studios said in a release that the cancelation was due to the group'€™s conflicting tour schedule. '€œThey will perform in Jakarta in November at a music festival,'€ said Helmi Sugara, the media relations officer for the promoter.

The Maine recently completed its South America leg in Brazil and Chile on Aug. 5. The Philippines will be the first country in Southeast Asia to host the Candy Tour on Aug. 12.

Marygops is offering a full refund for ticket buyers starting Thursday.

Tickets, priced at Rp 625,000, were sold in limited amount to ensure an intimate concert ambience for the fans.
