elatives of murdered businessman Dodi Triono could not hold back their tears at the funeral of Dodi and two of his daughters at Tanah Kusir Cemetery in South Jakarta on Wednesday.

Attended by scores of 100 relatives, including Dodi's surviving daughter Zannette Kalila Azaira, the funeral was held at 10:50 a.m.

Dodi, 59, and daughters Diona Arika, 16, and Dianita Gemma, 9, were murdered at their Pulo Mas, East Jakarta, home. Their bodies were discovered on Tuesday morning in a bathroom of the house, where they had been locked by an intruder along with eight other people. Three others also died in the incident. Zannette, 13, and the four others who survived the ordeal are being treated at Kartika Hospital, Pulo Mas.

Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) head Erlinda visited Zannette at the hospital on Tuesday night and said the attack could have been motivated by revenge.

“Zannette gave me some clues. She said the perpetrators were evil and her dad was not wrong. There was more than one perpetrator,” Erlinda said without going into detail.

Erlinda said she saw anger in the eyes of Zannette, who has a disability and difficulty talking.

Police earlier said no precious belongings were missing from the house.(jun)
