Anies launched on Monday mini talk show program “Santai Sore Anies-Sandi” (Relaxed Afternoon with Anies-Sandi), which will be hosted by Raffi, Nagita and another celebrity, Kartika Putri. The program, comprising five episodes, will explore the campaign duo's activities throughout their daily lives and include testimonials from their close relatives.

“It’s a good approach to attract young voters. Raffi and Nagita are famous artists, thus their presence will create appeal,” Anies told reporters. The program will be aired on all major social media channels once every two days.

As the voting day draws closer, Anies said he aimed to make a last ditch effort to attract young voters because they were "swing voters" whose choices could change at any time.

“Moreover, young voters mostly occupy digital [media],” Anies said.

Raffi said he supported Anies because his campaign programs were in line with the needs of him and his wife, whom he had recently married and had a child with.

“I'm here not as an artist, but as a Jakartan working in the city and as a young man -- although I’m no longer that young -- who already has a family. We see that Anies-Sandiaga have several good programs that can provide solutions for Jakartans,” said Raffi.
