candidate debate ahead of the Jakarta gubernatorial runoff election is likely be held in the last week of the campaign period, an official says.
Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU Jakarta) head Sumarno said his institution would only hold one debate.
"The event will be held in the last week of the campaign period [that ends on April 15]. However, we are still thinking about the theme of the debate," Sumarno said after a meeting with the City Council on Tuesday.
The commission was invited by city councilors to discuss preparations for election day on April 19.
