“We’ve engaged the campaign teams to accompany the KPU in distributing C6 forms so their supporters on the final voter list receive the forms,” Sumarno said at KPU Jakarta in Salemba, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday.
According to KPU regulations, Polling Station Working Committees (KPPS) should distribute C6 forms to voters no later than three days before the election.
Voters who do not receive their C6 form can request one up until a day before the election.
Sumarno said residents could still vote without a C6 form by using their e-ID or a recommendation letter issued by the Jakarta Civil Registry and Demography Agency (Disdukcapil).
The campaign team of Ahok previously complained about many of its candidate’s not receiving their C6 forms ahead of the first round of the election on Feb. 15.
