Fans of Korean drama Descendants of the Sun can rejoice as they will be able to visit its filming locations in South Korea.

Collaborating with travel agents in Indonesia, the Korean Tourism Organization Jakarta Office (KTO Jakarta) is set to offer 10 Descendants of the Sun tour packages, which include Hanbo Mine in Taebaek, Samtan Art Mine in Jeongson, both located in Gangwon province, Paju military camp in Gyeonggi province and the beautifully decorated café dal.komm coffee.

According to kompas.com, among the travel agents cooperating with KTO Jakarta are Avia Tour, Bayu Buana, Dwidaya Tour, Golden Rama and KIA.

Starring renowned celebrities Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki, the Descendants of the Sun has gained worldwide fame, especially in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore.

The 16-episode drama follows the love story of Captain Yoo Shi-jin (Song Joong-ki) and army doctor Mo Yeon (Song Hye-kyo). Despite their love for each other, circumstances always separates the couple. (wir/kes)
