A rideable carry-on smart luggage that can be ridden is ready to take passengers through the airport terminals three times faster.
In addition to a top speed of 8 mph and a range of about 6 miles, Modobag also has a GPRS-GSM tracking as well as a dual USB charging port that will keep their devices powered up. All works with the company's official app that helps users locate the bag and set alerts for when they forget the bag or go too far from it.

According to Conde Nast Traveler, the idea came to the founder Kevin O’Donnell in an airport when his kids were riding his suitcase. ""We're gonna put motors in these," he reportedly said.
Available on crowdfunding and fundraising site Indiegogo, this luggage’s starting price is set at US$995 with estimated delivery date January next year. (tif/kes)
