P

ekan Raya Indonesia (PRI) or the “Indonesian Fair” is slated to run until Nov. 6 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD, Tangerang.

Among all the attractions, The Jakarta Post spotted some kid-friendly programs, making it a suitable event for bringing along your children.

Here are some of the fun activities offered at the fair that will make your kids smile from ear to ear.

Bike ride at BSD Theme Park

BSD Theme Park offers a few activities during PRI, including paintball and bike riding. While paintball has an age limit of 15 years old and above, the bike ride is suitable for children aged eight years old and above. By paying Rp 45,000 (US$3.44), the kids can get free bike-riding coaching and unlimited time cycling.

Conjuring House

Visiting a haunted house is always a fun family activity. Inspired by the American supernatural horror film Conjuring, this place can accommodate up to five people in one session. There's no age limit to enter the attraction, which allows you to bring your kids. The entrance fee is Rp 50,000 per person.

Becakminiku

Located next to the bike ride at BSD Theme Park, Becakminiku is suitable for preschoolers and children of up to 10 years old. For a 30-minute mini becak ride, the ticket costs Rp 25,000 per person.

Istana balon and trampoline

PRI also hosts istana balon (inflatable balloon playground) and a trampoline. The entrance fee for each playground is Rp 25,000. Kids can spend around 10 to 20 minutes playing inside, allowing you sometime to explore the food area nearby.

Besides the activities mentioned above, PRI also offers a snow park. However, the attraction was not open during our visit.

The cost of enjoying each attraction is not included in the entrance fee of the event, which is priced at Rp 25,000 on weekdays and Rp 35,000 on weekends. (kes)
