ravel website justtheflight.co.uk has published a ranking of the ten airports in closest proximity to the city center, with Gibraltar International Airport coming out on top.

The airport in the British overseas territory located on Spain’s south coast is just 2.2 kilometers from the heart of the city.

Reaching the city center from Gibraltar International Airport only takes about 7 minutes by car, 8 minutes by train or 23 minutes on foot.

Tallinn Airport in Estonia is also only 2.2 km from the city center, and reaching it takes an estimated 8 minutes by car or 12 minutes by train. 

By comparison, Central Jakarta is more than 20 km from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Cengkareng, and getting there can take anywhere between 30 minutes and 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions. (mra/kes)
