MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi recently spent three days on holiday in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara.

After landing on Monday at Komodo Airport, Rossi kicked off his trip in Labuan Bajo before exploring other attractions, namely Padar Island, Komodo National Park and Pink Beach.

Tempo.co reported that Rossi was on a MotoGP summer break.

Also known as The Doctor, the rider spent two hours swimming at Pink Beach before heading to Manta Point on Komodo Island for sunset.

While in Labuan Bajo, he had dinner with friends at Italian restaurant La Cucina. Local resident Gerarismo Satria said the restaurant belonged to Rossi’s childhood friend, who also hosted him during his trip in the region.

Adam, owner of the Dipe speed boat that Rossi used to explore the area, said the rider requested the trip not be covered by the media as it was a private holiday. (jes/kes)
