p to 500 cyclists from 36 countries are set to cycle across Batam in Riau Islands for the 6th Tour de Barelang, also known as the Six Bridges Road Race, on May 13.
This year's route will kick off at the Batam Center Ferry Terminal and continue along the Trans Road and then back to the finish line at the Barelang 1 Bridge, also known as Tengku Fisabilillah Bridge.

“Ferries will dispatch participants to Batam in the morning from the Harbour Front Ferry Terminal and return to Singapore after the race by 6 p.m. or 7 p.m.,” said Pebrialin, head of the Batam Tourism and Culture Agency.
“Riders are going to cycle through the islands of Tonton, Nipah and Rempang. The route will end at the tip of Galang Baru Island,” Pebrialin added. (kes)
