imor Leste’s Air Timor is set to open a new charter flight route from Kupang in East Nusa Tenggara to Dili in Timor Leste on Dec. 15.
The airline's general manager, Andisuari Dewi, said flights for the routes would be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Andisuari explained that the charter flight would use a TransNusa Aviation Mandiri ATR72-600 aircraft with a capacity of 70 passengers.

Ticket prices start at US$62 for Kupang-Dili and US$60 for Dili-Kupang.
Antara news agency reported that Air Timor and TransNusa Aviation Mandiri had signed an agreement on the plan in June, while operating licenses from the Transportation Ministry's Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Timor Leste were issued on Nov. 23.
Andisuari expressed her hope that the new route would help support connectivity between the two cities.
In addition to connecting the two cities, the new route will also run a cargo service. (jes/kes)
