Qantas Airways and Jetstar Asia Airways will operate from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport’s Terminal 3 starting May 11.
Soekarno-Hatta operational manager Djody Prasetyo said a number of airlines with international routes would gradually move operations from Terminal 2 to 3 starting in May.
"One by one, foreign airlines will move operations. This will further reinforce Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as a world-class terminal," Djody said as quoted by kompas.com.

State-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura (AP) II, which manages Soekarno-Hatta, is also developing the airport's aircraft path layout by connecting the north-south runways on the east side, called the "east-cross taxiway", as well as a third runway.
The design will accommodate an increase in the number of planes moving on the ground per hour from 81 to 114.
"The aircraft movement is expected to be accelerated without a long wait," Djody said. (liz/kes)
