NusaTrip.com seeks to eliminate payment problems faced by travelers when booking tickets from airline websites.

nline travel agency NusaTrip.com seeks to assist tourists traveling to Indonesia by providing a more friendly payment platform and access to around 115 airports in the country.

The agency is said to have eliminated limitations faced by tourists abroad when trying to book tickets or a hotel. Its service will allow visitors to, for instance, book a hotel in Hong Kong and pay via ATM or with cash.

Such transactions, which can be carried out through over 90 banks, is also payable using debit and credit cards.

“In the past year we have processed payments from travelers from over 160 different countries,” said NusaTrip.com founder Hans Ebenhahn in a statement.

Furthermore, the agency boasts to have built a network with more than 500 airlines and 200,000 hotels that can be booked in over 10,000 locations. It also covers other places in Indonesia, including Batulicin subdistrict in South Kalimantan and Bajawa, the capital city of Ngada district, in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

Kontan.co.id reported that NusaTrip.com may also expand to other services, such as train ticket booking.

"For this [train ticket booking] feature, we’ll see it as an additional service for our Indonesian customers who want to travel to Europe, hence they can book flights, hotel and train tickets at the same time,” said the agency's senior marketing operation Scorpio Arie Wibowo, adding that the launch of the service was not yet confirmed.
