isitors interested in staying at a unique accommodation option can look to the capsule hotel, the Digital Airport Hotel, which is opening on Friday at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Location: Soekarno-Hatta T3
The Digital Airport Hotel is located in Terminal 3's commercial area on the first floor (domestic arrivals), according to tempo.co.
Spaceship-like design
With a minimalist, futuristic design that might remind you of a spaceship, the Digital Airport Hotel has 120 Alpha and Beta rooms. The Alpha rooms offer a 22-inch TV and a portable desk, while the Beta rooms offer a 32-inch TV sans desk. Each room can accommodate an adult and a child under 5, reports kompas.com.
Additional facilities
Among the facilities guests can expect are a cable TV, access card and USB charging outlet. The hotel is also equipped with a communal shower, free Wi-Fi, blankets, pillows, lockers, bathroom amenities and complimentary bottled water.
State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II has shared pictures of some of the facilities on its official Twitter account.

Room rates
The rooms are available for stays of six hours or per day starting at Rp 250,000 (US$17) for Alpha and Rp 375,000 for Beta.
Online bookings are currently unavailable, which means travelers will need to book a room on site. However, AP II has said it will launch an online app next month. “It’s currently under development,” said AP II commercial senior manager I Wayan Darma. (wir/kes)
