Cruise ship Voyager of the Seas returns to Southeast Asia

T

he Voyager of the Seas cruise ship by Royal Caribbean International will sail around Southeast Asia from September this year until June 2019.

The company said in a statement that the luxury cruise ship would make around 70 three to seven night journeys.

This time around, the cruise will depart from Singapore for destinations across the region, namely Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia as well as Bangkok (Laem Chabang) and Phuket in Thailand.

Voyager of the Seas is among the region’s largest and most innovative cruise ships.

The cruise ship can accommodate more than 4,200 guests and is equipped with entertainment facilities, such as a full-sized sports court, a FlowRider surf simulator, rock-climbing wall, mini-golf course, ice-skating rink, 3D movies and more.

In addition to the entertainment facilities, the cruise also comes with complementary dining options, such as the Main Dining Room and Windjammer Café buffet restaurant plus the 24-hour Café Promenade.

Furthermore, there are also specialty restaurants, such as Chops Grille Steakhouse, Giovanni’s Table Italian restaurant, Izumi for Asian cuisine and Johnny Rockets for those looking for other types of cuisine. (jes/wng)
