T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) is collaborating with the regional government of Subang, West Java; Subang Regency Environment Service; Purwakarta Region II Forestry Service; and Langensari Village Sustainable Group to plant 10,000 mangroves in Langengsari village, Blanakan district, Subang regency, on Saturday. This event is part of PNM's commitment to make a real contribution to environmental sustainability, especially the preservation of forest ecosystems.

The event began with a workout with the community, followed by the planting of 10,000 mangroves in Langensari village by 100 PNM workers of the Subang branch. Direct assistance in distributing mangroves was given by Jimi Firmansyah as the Subang branch manager and attended by 100 invited guests including Hidayat, head of the District Environmental Service Subang; Furwani, head of Blanakan sub-district; Kustiawan, head of Ciasem Police; Agus Supriadi, Danramil 0506/Ciasem; Ahmad Hidayat Purkon, head of the Tegal Tangkil Forest Management Resort; and Sodikin, head of Langensari village.

“The distribution of this CSR program is an expression of PNM's commitment to continue to preserve the environment and empower the community, in this case, in Langansari village, Subang. In addition to environmental preservation, we are focusing on developing other potential, namely making this area one of those where household businesses grow that process mangrove fruit and sap into products that can be sold to the public," said Jimi.

Additionally, as of Aug. 26, PNM had disbursed financing of Rp 137.61 trillion (US$8.84 million) to PNM Mekaar customers, totaling 12.5 million customers. Currently, PNM has 3,500 PNM Mekaar service offices and 624 PNM ULaMM service offices throughout Indonesia serving MSEs in 34 provinces, 443 regencies/cities and 5,640 sub-districts.
