s part of the series of celebrations surrounding Astra's 65th anniversary presents the culture of Bali, Nusa Tenggara, and Eastern Indonesia, and it continues with commitment to sustainable social contributions in the health sector to create a healthy Indonesian community through the 2022 Festival Kesehatan Astra (Astra Health Festival) to commemorate National Health Day.

The festival, held at Kampung Berseri Astra (KBA), Tegehsari, Bali, was attended by the Health Ministry’s Director General of Public Health Maria Endang Sumiwi, Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati and Chief of Corporate Human Capital Development Aloysius Astra Budi Santoso.

Speaking at the event, Director General of Public Health Maria expressed her gratitude to Astra’s sustainable social contributions, one of which is related to the health pillar.

“With Festival Kesehatan Astra, we hope to begin Astra’s collaboration with the Health Ministry, the Provincial Government of Bali and the Denpasar City Government in organizing the transformation of primary-health services, with the aim of implementing them in other provinces, districts and cities that are Astra target locations in the future," she said.

Meanwhile, Chief of Corporate Human Capital Development Astra Aloysius said throughout 65 years of its journey with the people of Indonesia, the company is aware that health is the most-important pillar in social life.

“Together with the Health Ministry, Astra continues to make real contributions, and hopes that the enthusiasm to continue collaborating in supporting health programs will continue to grow for the sake of a healthier Indonesia," he said.

Festival Kesehatan Astra 2022, taking the theme "Establish Sustainable Family Wellness", aims to build awareness among the public that the nation’s health and welfare starts from a healthy family environment, in accordance with the Health Ministry’s vision of encouraging healthiness to begin with preventive efforts.

The series of events began with the inauguration of the Purnama integrated health-services post (Posyandu) in Banjar Tegehsari, Tonja village, North Denpasar district; the announcement of the Prima Posyandu in Tonja; child- and family-health activities i.e. hand washing with soap, which was attended by 650 participants; healthy family-meal cooking competitions; as well as blood-donation drives in Astra Group areas throughout Indonesia, where the number of blood-donor participants will be converted into assistance with Posyandu equipment throughout Indonesia.

The event continued with the signing of a MoU between Astra and the Health Ministry to improve public health in order to create a healthier Indonesia. The collaboration also Includes efforts to improve the public-health sector, strengthening and activating the implementation of Posyandu services, increasing health efforts using a life-cycle approach, as well as efforts to improve community nutrition.

Along with taking up the theme of health, Astra's 65th anniversary celebrations in Bali, Nusa Tenggara and Eastern Indonesia also present a range of inspirational shows, consisting of Astra Career Meet Up, Astra Photo Competition Webinar and the Pewarta Astra Award, Sustainability Webinar, Kreasi Nusantara, InnovNation Webinar and the Waktu Indonesia Talent Show, which can all be accessed via the digital platform 65tahunastra.jagat.live from Dec. 2-4.

The Astra Career Meetup, with the theme "Workplace Wellness", consists of two sessions: "Balancing Work & Life Matters" and "Being an Achiever at Work and Pursuing Our Passion in Life".

The series will continue with the Astra Photo Competition Webinar and the 2022 Pewarta Astra Award with the theme "Rising Together for Indonesia", which will showcase reliable panelists from the fields of photography and writing.

Meanwhile, Astra's Sustainability Webinar with the theme of "Establish Sustainable Family Wellness" will be followed by the InnovNation Webinar with the themes of "Healing with Art", "Key to Happier Mind" and "Health & Habits", which will close Astra's 65th anniversary celebrations.

Astra's contribution in providing positive benefits to the surrounding community in the health sector is in line with Astra's aspirations to prosper with the nation and support Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals.
