ontinuing to elevate the culinary experience, GoFood is collaborating with Indonesia’s prominent music group, Maliq & D’Essentials to deliver a fusion of flavors and melodies. Titled ‘GoFood is a food heaven’ or dubbed as ‘GoFoodSurgaMakanan’, this collaboration covers various initiatives from the band’s ‘Aduh’ hits remake, its personnels favorite menu curation on GoFood app, giveaways, social media content collab to the enchanting evening of GoFood x Maliq & D’Essentials mini concert (24/09).

Asked on why GoFood taps into music, Gojek Head of Marketing Food and Ads Ignatius Satrio answered, “both (food and music) are two interrelated elements with lots of similarity. They are inseparable from everyday life. Both could create emotions, trigger creativity and warm up the ambiance.”

“Through this collaboration, we want to invite Maliq & D’Essentials’ fans to explore the taste and flavor in millions of favorite culinary choices on GoFood. Because GoFood is a food heaven, we are always ready to answer any of your culinary needs, regardless of the food, taste preferences, companion, timing, or even the budget,” said Rio.

.

Rio also stated how GoFood sees Maliq & D’Essentials as a figure with a shared spirit, which are innovative and adaptive towards consumers preferences, making both brands relevant across generations.

Meanwhile, the vocalist of the band also emphasized how food plays a big part in their creative processes. “For more than two decades of Maliq & D’Essentials existence , I can't recall a single studio session without food to munch on. Thanks to GoFood, our taste bud differences are no longer a problem, because we can simply order whatever our belly desires. A happy belly, joyful heart and the contagious laughters we had in the studio, they are the fuel for our creativity! So when GoFood came knocking at our door with this collaboration, we had no hesitation to jump right in,” said Angga Puradiredja.
