Danantara to boost housing loans to Rp 250 trillion in 2026

The amount is contingent on the effective rollout of the Rp 130 trillion program budgeted by the state asset fund for microcredits in 2025, with just three months remaining for state lenders to disburse the loans.

D

anantara is set to almost double its allocation for loans under the housing microcredit program (KUR) in 2026 to support President Prabowo Subianto’s flagship program to build or renovate 3 million homes annually.

The state asset fund targets Rp 130 trillion (US$7.92 billion) in credit issuance for the program in 2025 and aims to increase that to Rp 250 trillion next year.

However, it has made the increase contingent on the effective disbursement of funds, which are channeled through state-owned banks, in the remaining months of this year.

“If absorption proceeds efficiently [this year], we are confident the allocation can be increased to Rp 250 trillion next year,” Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said during a housing industry event on Tuesday, as quoted by state news agency Antara.

According to the housing road map, the Housing Ministry plans to renovate 2 million homes through a self-help program that provides low-income households with financial support for home improvements while beneficiaries contribute labor and materials themselves.
