US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and FDA Commissioner Marty Makary said on Tuesday that the agency plans to remove synthetic food dyes from the US food supply by revoking authorizations of some and working with industry to voluntarily remove others.

The tariffs on companies from Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam will still need to be ratified at a meeting of the International Trade Commission in June.

The guarantees, aimed at easing investor concerns over the megaproject’s execution and continuity, will be issued jointly by the Finance Ministry and PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PT PII), the ministry’s infrastructure guarantee vehicle.

The body noted that the auction process, management handover and subsequent implementation of construction work would soon take place.

Companies have to submit a due diligence statement annually, rather than for each shipment or batch of goods placed on the EU market, the Commission said in rule changes published late on Tuesday in response to industry demands.

Beijing has also asked that Chinese carriers halt any purchases of aircraft-related equipment and parts from US companies, the Bloomberg report said.
