n a new YouTube series, actor Lukman Sardi helps fatherless kids navigate life by providing useful answers to questions they might have never got the chance to ask before.
Popular Indonesian actor Lukman Sardi plays a father figure in a new YouTube series titled Ayah, Bagaimana Bila Aku… (ABBA; Dad, What If I..?) created by fellow actor and presenter Daniel Mananta.
The series, airing on the Daniel Mananta Network YouTube channel, is intended to help fatherless kids navigate life through a father figure they can ask questions to.
The series’ inspiration came from Daniel’s interaction with his followers on Instagram, asking them what it felt like living with no father in their lives.
The stories that he received inspired a variety of episodes that will appear in the ABBA series, hosted by Lukman. Addressing himself as “Ayah” (Dad) and the audience as “Nak” (Kid), Lukman gives useful tips and advice on a number of issues, such as Ayah Bagaimana Bila Aku Naksir Sahabat? (Dad, What If I Have a Crush on My Friend?) and Ayah Bagaimana Bila Aku Harus Memakai Dasi? (Dad, What If I Have to Wear a Tie?).
The first episode, out on Dec. 11, was a lesson on how to tie shoelaces, which has been watched by over 5,000 viewers. Viewers are also treated to “dad jokes” banter between Lukman and Daniel on a separate video.
The program will also involve the audience directly, allowing them to tell their personal stories, which will be answered by Lukman in future videos.
