ndonesia's creative industry is considered one of the vessels that can drive the country’s economic growth and is responsible for 8 percent to the gross domestic product (GDP), as revealed by Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno earlier this year.
After the sector took a huge hit amid the pandemic, Krista Exhibitions is ready to help the revival of the industry. The Pro Audio, Visual, Lighting (AVL) Indonesia 2023 Exhibition makes waves as the largest audiovisual and lighting exhibition in Indonesia, after being postponed due to pandemic restrictions.
Held from Oct. 26 to 28, the three-day event will be held in conjunction with Tourism & Entertainment Technology Asia, Broadcast & Media Tech Indonesia and Music Indonesia Expo 2023, which will take place in Hall C, Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta.
This year, the event is expected to draw up to 5,000 visitors, convening as many as 43 companies from ten countries to display the latest technology and equipment for the audio industry. This exhibition is also aimed at helping develop creativity and artistic productivity to ensure that manufacturing in Indonesia can be more advanced.
"[Visitors will be] introduced to varying product quality standards and the audio, visual and lighting industry in Indonesia, which is actually not inferior to developed countries which have global brands," said Daud D Salim, chief executive office of Krista Exhibitions.
The Pro AVL Exhibition is a platform for stakeholders in the audio, visual and lighting industry to introduce the latest technology, consult about musical instruments and sound systems, promote, gather consumer prospects, as well as collaborate with others.
Various product categories that will be presented will range from professional audio sound systems, lighting systems, effects equipment, LED frames, to musical instrument equipment and the latest stage lighting technology updates at the PRO AVL 2023 exhibition.
This exhibition invites creative industry players, namely audio, visual, broadcasting, LED videotron, music, DJ equipment and lighting professionals.
The success of PRO AVL 2023 cannot be separated from the support of the Industry Ministry, the Trade Ministry, the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency of the Republic of Indonesia and support from related associations such as the Indonesian Audio Video Music Activists Association (APAVMI), National Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs Association (APTIKNAS), Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (APRINDO) and others.
