he Hindu holiday of Nyepi, which marks the Shaka New Year, is an eagerly awaited celebration by Hindus, particularly by those in Bali.
Typically celebrated with a range of ceremonies and festivities throughout the sacred day, both local and foreign tourists often visit the island for a tranquil Nyepi experience.
