wo Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team riders Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi paraded with the Bali Motorcycle Club, with 130 motorcycles from various motorcycle communities in Bali participating.
Motorcycle communities participating in the parade include Saint Garage, Kawasaki Bali, Bali Bikers Community (which consists of several communities), Ducati Owner Club Indonesia (DOCI), Ducati Indonesia and the fanbase of Valentino Rossi (FCVRI).
PT Pertamina (Persero) Corporate Communications VP Fadjar Djoko Santoso explained that this casual parade was conducted by riders together with motorcycle communities heading to the Meet & Greet event location. The riders started the parade from The Meru Hotel and ended at Mari Beach Club. They headed to Pertamina gas station 54.803.31 Sunset Road, and then to Mari Beach Club using the provided motorsport vehicles.
“More than 130 riders from various motorcycle clubs in Bali joined us to enliven this parade. Not only big motorcycles but also mopeds were included. I saw great enthusiasm from the motorcycle club communities wanting to join the parade with two top riders from the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi. Hopefully, with this parade, the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024 event will be even more resounding and successful,” he said.
Before the parade started, Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider Marco Bezzecchi greeted the parade participants to encourage them for a smooth event. “Nice to see you,” he said.
Rider Fabio Di Giannantonio hoped all participants could enjoy the parade and meet & greet. “I hope you all enjoy tonight together so that I can meet many more people like you. Let's enjoy today together,” said Fabio.
One rider from the Honda Owner Bali (HOBI) Community, Benson Sitompul, expressed his excitement about parading using a motorcycle alongside the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team racer.
“It feels exciting, experiencing the heat, the thrill and the fun. So, from The Meru Hotel, we circled to the bypass, to Kuta Beach, through Legian toward Petitenget then to Mari Beach. There's a racer I admire. Hopefully, Bezzecchi can pull off his signature move tomorrow, aiming to compete at least in the top five. He also has many fans in Indonesia, making watching the 2024 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia more enjoyable,” he said.
The parade was supported by the Denpasar Bali Sector Police, who provided escort from the beginning to the end of the parade, ensuring the safety of all participating riders.
