encana pemindahan ibu kota negara ke Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) di Kalimantan Timur kembali dipertanyakan. Pasalnya, kemajuan konstruksi berjalan lambat dan sudah ada tenggat waktu yang terlewat.

Tinggal satu bulan lagi sebelum Nusantara dijadwalkan mengadakan perayaan Hari Kemerdekaan pada 17 Agustus, yang pertama di ibu kota baru. Hari itu juga diharapkan menjadi perayaan pemindahan ibu kota Indonesia dari Jakarta secara resmi.

Namun, pembangunan kota baru ini masih jauh dari selesai. Infrastruktur dasar, seperti instalasi air, belum dapat beroperasi di Nusantara. Gugus tugas pembangunan terhambat oleh cuaca buruk saat melakukan uji coba pasokan air dalam beberapa minggu terakhir.

Gugus tugas pembangunan Nusantara pada awalnya bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan pengujian tersebut pada 8 Juli. Tapi hujan lebat yang mengguyur wilayah IKN selama sebulan terakhir menghambat pembangunan sistem pengairan.

“Karena hujan, kami terpaksa menunda jadwal penyelesaian infrastruktur dasar pengairan,” kata Imam Santoso Ernawi, Ketua Satgas Pembangunan Nusantara Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat. Imam mengatakannya saat jumpa pers di Jakarta, pada Kamis 11 Juli.

Ia menambahkan bahwa gugus tugas bertujuan menyelesaikan uji kendali mutu pasokan air bersih pada 17 Juli. Artinya terlambat seminggu dari rencana awal.
